Hi, I'm Julia.
I help organizations, young adults, and parents create lasting change.

On Being a Trainer, Counselor, and Relationship Coach

The starting point for change is recognizing that the status quo is less than optimal. My work has shown me that the disappointments of the present often lead to transformational shifts. I am inspired by passionate organizations and employees who want to perform more effectively, but aren't quite sure of how to get there.

With background experience in therapeutic settings, I approach my consulting work in the same way I work with individual clients, understanding that each organization requires individualized assessment in order to provide a menu of options tailored to organizational needs.

Practitioner Background

One of the things that brought me into social work was a desire to help people realize their full potential. I believe that people can live the life they want to lead upon identifying their values, and creating goals that will help them move towards these values.

Since I began my career, I have always felt passionately about empowering people and organizations take an introspective and curious look about how they'd like to make changes to improve their health and well-being. I believe that through relationships, we as people can realize our full potential.

I joined Chicago Compass Counseling as a trainer and consultant in 2014. My background as a counselor, trainer, and consultant allows me to draw from diverse knowledge and experience when I consult with corporations to help them achieve their desired goals. In each training, I incorporate my knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practice, and outcome-driven assessment into a tailored solution.

Organizations deserve the same results-oriented plans I offer my individual clients. My training work engages experiential learning, using interactive activities to help your consolidate new skills.

Whether I am working with social-service agencies or large healthcare systems, I will always offer your organization a menu of detailed, thoughtful, and scalable deliverables to help you achieve your training goals.

One of my driving professional interests is in optimizing the health and wellness of emerging adults. My clinical foundation helps me appreciate the parallels between emerging organizational goals, change management implementation, and the ways in which both organizations long to achieve their inner potential.

Your organization can achieve successful outcomes. Call or text (312) 715-8234, or email [email protected] to schedule your initial consultation with me.

Julia as a Person

After studying at Tulane University in New Orleans, I moved to Chicago to start a corporate career. My passion for the art and science of change led me to study clinical social work and evidence-based practice, where I could integrate a systems approach with my personal values. In my free time, I enjoy reading, fitness, cooking, and spending time with friends. I love to travel and spend time with the people I love.
